My sentiment exactly

That would be great flavor text for an event card like this...

Moribund in Meereen

No action may take place this round.

Or how about a Location: "Mereen" : No event cards may be played, you cannot initiate challenges. Domnance: pay 1 gold per character you control with the 'mercenary' trait or given control of that character to another player.

I'm on board.  Man, the Dany chapters are still very hard for me to read.

Though mayhaps this was a blessing. Had he lived, he would have grown up to be a Frey." Laughed out loud at Wyman Manderly with this line.

Yeah - that he actually said it suprised me  - was awesome though.

That, and "The North Remembers" were great.  I know there's one I loved that I've apparently forgotten already - maybe 2nd red through will help

I was surprised, too. I think it shows the level of stress everyone is under in Winterfell.

"The North remembers" - that summed up a powerful chapter in a powerful way. I really liked the Davos chapters and where they were taking the whole North-arc.

Oh man, Manderly is bad-ass! Balls of stone... asking for a song about the Rat King. Muahaha.

"You would break the king's peace?"

"I would shatter it."

That's why he's Barristan the Bold.

Dolorous Edd said, "Now I understand why King Stannis let the wildings through the Wall.  He means for us to eat them."

Jon had to smile. "It will not come to that."

"Oh, good," said Edd. "They look a stringy lot, and my teeth are not as sharp as when I was younger."

Leave it to Edd to lightene the mood.

"Though mayhaps this was a blessing.  Had he lived he would have grown up to be a Frey."

By far my favorite quote of any books in the ASOIAF series.  I couldn't stop laughing for almost five minutes.  Wyman Manderly attained legendary status with this one.

(with tears in his eyes) "For the Watch."

Because this part was the most gut-wrenching-tear-jerking-book-throwing moment in the whole series for me.
