They are basically component less compendum if i read it right? Only rules, no fluff!!! Or am i misunderstanding and there will be some fluff about the world because i'm a new players interested by trying the component less version first but if there's no fluff about the Old World... geez

There's  no new fluff. If You got the core set then there's no need for You to buy Players Guide & GM Guide becouse You will get the same info. There's just no new material in those.

To clarify FFGfan's comment, there IS fluff in the guides. It is the same fluff that exists the current core books, plus some that is in Winds of Magic and Signs of Faith.

From what I remember glancing through them, the Players Guide has the basic Old World info found in the Players book from the core box, while the magic and faith stuff is in the GM book. I could be wrong there, though.

Listen to my actual play podcasts at BeggingForXP.com.

Take a look at my Talent Trees (Edge of the Empire and Age of Rebellion), YT-2400 deck plans for the Lazy Bantha, as well as my other handouts.
