Hi I have just seen that savage worlds have done a adventure card for their game..(old news but new to me ;-)

I like the idea that random acts happen...

the card only lasts 1 session...

For wfrp i was thinking:
1. Morr looks away from you this Day (May convert the killing blow to a unconc. Blow)
2. In the eyes of morr (you get nightmares, unabile to recover hp during sleep)
3. Come sit on grandfathers knee (a crit May become infected..disease card with relevant stat) (nurgle)
4. Ohh my you are handsome (a npc becomes smitten with the pc...) (slaanesh)
5. Bad temper (add +1 Dam to all melee attacks) (khorne)
And many more....

Would this be to big an advantage for 1 session?? Should it be one Day....or not at all??

Best

You could have it for one session a special event card with a tracker.

Each time a chaos star is thrown the tracker goes up by that many stars.

There are 20 gods operating in the Empire that I know of, leaving out the gods of most other races or other parts of the world that arent interested in the Empire.

Chaos

Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh, Tzeentch

Law

  • Solkan

Lesser known gods

  • Gunndred, Handrich, Ahalt the Drinker,Stormfels

Gaze of the Gods

Your exploits have attracted the gaze of a god.

Roll a Purple and Yellow Dice to see which god it is

Then add an effect that this god would do. Event, buff, debuff.

Blank Blank = The gaze drifts over you and nothing happens

Blank Hammer = Ulric

Blank Hammer + = Shallya

Blank Eagle = Mymidia

Blank Comet = Sigmar

Crossed Swords or Double Crossed swords and a Blank = Ranald

Crossed Swords or Double Crossed swords and a Hammer = Taal

Crossed Swords or Double Crossed swords and a Hammer + = Rhya

Crossed Swords or Double Crossed swords and a Eagle = Manann

Crossed Swords or Double Crossed swords and a Comet = Morr

Skull or Double Skulls and a Blank = Stormfells

Skull or Double Skulls  and a Hammer = Ahalt the Drinker

Skull or Double Skulls  and a Hammer = Handrich

Skull or Double Skulls  and a Hammer = Gundred

Skull or Double Skulls  and a Hammer = Verena

Chaos Star and a Blank = Horned Rat

Chaos Star and a Hammer = Khorne

Chaos Star and a Hammer Plus = Nurgle

Chaos Star and a Eagle = Slaanesh

Chaos Star and a Comet = Tzeench

I think most of these should be connected to things like did you enter the graveyard improperly (Morr unhappy) or did you take the time to make an offering at the wayside shrine to Taal and Rhya as the trail entered the forest etc. as added comet/chaos star results, do you have some corruption and do something a Ruinous Power "appreciates" (oooh, good killing blow there says Khorne, nice use of your charm when you didn't mean it says Slaanesh, excellent job convincing that conservative captain to try an innovative defence against greenskins says Tzeentch, you suffer so beautifully says Nurgle).

The gods generally are not omnipresent in the old world.  It's not "mythical Greece with Aphrodite and Zeus noticing you" etc.

From all the sources I have read, i have only read about chaos interfering in the world.

The other gods just seem to act through spells from what i can see.

Well except Ulrics flame and the sigmar rebirth event.

Hmm I get What you are saying, however the reason for the cards is as in sw that it adds flavor, roleplaying help/problems.

The cards in sw is:
Spill the Beans
“You don’t wanna get her riled, amigo.”
The subject of your questioning
tells you everything you want to
know, whether by friendly
persuasion, intimidation, or force

And so on. i just found it more in the wfrpg spirit to make the gods do a little random help/hassle....some days you are just in a bad mood...for no apparant reason

Just because someone yells out that Gods wrath has hit him, when he lost a foot in the war, it doesn't mean that God actually pointed his wrath in his direction. But the man believes so and that's how I see the flavour of such cards.

I agree...the point of the cards was only to give some additional roleplaying options...
And the name were only so it would be in wfrp flavor!!
