*: This ship’s cargo area can be easily converted into a troop area, and vice versa. As a gunship, it can transport troops and equipment rather quickly, making this a rather versatile vehicle. For every passenger removed, add +2 Encumbrance.

 

Notes:

The Halo is a modified version of this ship. For that one, I would add a hyperdrive. . .and that’s about it. There may be other modifications that are not as obvious (perhaps better shields/armor), but it is hard to tell.

 

The original ship (above) was designed with planetary defense in mind, meaning it wasn’t really geared toward moving from planet to planet in the stock configuration. That doesn’t mean it can’t; it just means it wasn’t built that way.

 

You can argue that since the ship was accidentally listed as a freighter, it could have a hyperdrive. I’d leave the cost and reduce a Hard Point if that’s the case.

I'll also try to get more writing done on a few more ships (more of the YZ and VCX line, as well as hitting some of the Saga Edition books) this weekend, but I can't promise much. My in-laws are coming to town and I need to pack before I move things into storage next week, so my computer time will be non-existent until Sunday.

Thank you! The Mon Calamari ships have always been a personal favorite, so I've been chugging them out when I can find them in old books (and when they don't mesh with the situations in the first post).
