How many support tokens do you get automatically?

I was watching a few videos on the gameplay. It appeared every time a group of SP did a move and activate, possibly a door, the door received an Support token.

It also looked like the player gave one support token to a marine every turn automatically, Is this standard play?

I know when I played last night I drew an occasional card that told me to give a ST to any marine once. I followed the instructions. I am just not sure if their is an automatic ST supplement given in every turn automatically.

You normally only get support tokens from support "actions", I know of no ability which gives you one automatically.

There are several cards/locations in the game that can receive support tokens to trigger an effect, e.g. Doors. This is usually done via the Move/Activate action.

Hope that helps.

It does help. Thank you.

I assume the video I watched the guy balanced all his turns with a action and door activation/ an attack/ an a support. That scenario I guess would give the door and a Space Marine a Support Token per turn.
